A two storey extension to an existing detached house in Reigate, Surrey with internal alterations to form a kitchen/breakfast & utility room on the ground floor and an additional bedroom, shower room and ensuite on the first floor. Building Regulations application, tender procedures and Contract Administration.
Working drawings with construction specification and Building Regulations application for a new 7000 sq. ft. house in Tunbridge Wells, Kent (self build). Technical design completed December 2009.

New Build
Project Management for the production of the technical drawing package for 24 terraced houses in 4 blocks for a national developer on a sloping site in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. This included optimisation of the layout plans in consultation with the client and co-ordination with other design team members through to Building Regulations approval and on-site operations. Refurbishment - Charlton Down Dorset
Conversion of Victorian Asylum (three separate listed buildings) into 170 apartments including conversion of the chapel into 6 units to the purchasers' bespoke specifications. Full service from concept design through to completion provided by Co3 Architects. (Paul is a former Partner)

Data Centres
Remote Data Centre
Paul managed the architectural scope of a £15m Tier 3 plus Remote Data Centre extension implemented by a major finance institution on the South coast of England from the start of operations on-site through to completion including Contract Administration. This involved intensive co-ordination and liaison with mechanical and electrical designers, IT specialists and the client's representatives. All design and on-site criteria was driven by the stringent requirement for cleanliness and complete control of the environment in the building. Media Library
In consultation with the client's design team Paul developed a Scope of Works and final design solution for a 2300ft2 media storage facility. This incorporated a mezzanine floor providing two levels of mobile storage for over 300,000 tapes within an operational Data Centre. Paul was responsible for the specification and preparation of tender and contract documents and Contract Administration through the works on-site to completion. Data Centre
Developed architectural and engineering concepts in association with Services and Structural Engineers to produce a scheme design of a 2000m2 data hall together with associated plant rooms, services and personnel facilities for the conversion of an existing building, originally constructed as a semi-conductor production facility. Education
Existing 1960's Multi Storey Building
Production and co-ordination of the technical drawing package, integrated with the interior fit out specification, for a two storey steel frame extension to an existing multi-storey building on the Stratford campus of the University of East London. This included the production of a Scope of Works for the relocation and fit out of a new computer server room. (Paul is a former Senior Associate of Amos Architecture + Design)

Existing Multi Storey Office Building
Developed, client approved in-house sketch and CGI concept designs into detailed production information to enable pricing for the refurbishment and upgrade of two existing entrance areas that serve this multi storey office building. (Paul is a former Senior Associate of Amos Architecture + Design)
Management Suite
Production and co-ordination of the technical drawing package, integrated with the interior fit out specification, for a new build management suite facility to serve a 491 unit residential refurbishment of an existing office building in West London. (Paul is a former Senior Associate of Amos Architecture + Design)
Leisure
Tonbridge Cricket Club
Construction of a new pavilion after fire destroyed the original. A full architectural service was provided from design through Planning and Building Regulations approval to contract administration and completion on-site. (Paul is a former Partner of Co3 Architects)
Industrial
Production and co-ordination of the architectural working drawings for a new process factory for British Sugar PLC in Allscott. (Contract appointment in the mid 1990's)
Health Authority
Production and co-ordination of working drawings for a number of central food production units for Regional Health Authority and County Council including the procurement of Kettering General Hospital kitchen refurbishment. (Paul is a former employee of Fookes Ness & Gooch during the late 1980's).
